Mr. Mike Allard
Principal, Grades 6-8 Teacher, Athletic Director, Technology Director
Mike was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He attended high school at Luther Prep in Watertown, WI, and college at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. He graduated Martin Luther College with a degree in K-12 Physical Education and a degree in K-8 Elementary Education. After graduation Mike married his beautiful bride Megan and they began their married life in the city of Santiago in the Dominican Republic. After one year there Mike received a call to be principal, athletic director and 6-8 teacher here at St. John's.  Mike and Megan have a son named Ezra who turned 4 in May and their daughter Adelynn will be 2 in October. In his free time, Mike enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and golf and loves watching the Bucks, Brewers, Badgers and Packers.

Miss Ashley Urbanek
Grades 3-5 Teacher, Music Director
Miss Urbanek grew up in Bangor, WI. She attended Luther High School in Onalaska and went on to study Education at Martin Luther College. She graduated in 2018 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Music. She's looking forward to starting her teaching ministry at St. John's and greatly appreciates how welcoming everyone has been so far! In her free time, she likes to read and play piano and other various instruments.

Mrs. Jenny Shadrick
Kindergarten, Grades 1-2 Teacher
Mrs. Shadrick received her degree in elementary education at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 2005. She was called to teach kindergarten for one year at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Wisconsin Rapids. She was then called to teach preschool here at St. John's. She also taught kindergarten, and in March, 2015 was called to teach grades K-2. She has lived in Neillsville her whole life and was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church. She was also married here at St. John's and now lives in the Loyal area with her husband Shawn and their daughters Natasha and Danica and son Dane. She is a 1997 graduate of St. John's and has had a couple of her colleagues as her teachers. As the kindergarten-Grade 2 teacher, she will train your child in God's Word and give them a well-rounded curriculum, attempting to meet each child's needs. She will treat your child fairly and show them love and support.

Mrs. Megan Allard
Preschool Director and Teacher, SALT (School Administrator Leadership Time) Teacher
Megan Allard, originally from Grand Rapids, MI, graduated from Martin Luther College in 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching one year in Brillion, Wi, Megan married her husband, Mike, and moved to the Dominican Republic where they both taught at a bilingual school in the city of Santiago for the year. Mike and Megan moved to Neillsville in the summer of 2013 to join the St. John's family. Megan began teaching preschool at St. John's in 2015 and teaches grades 6-8 as the administrative release teacher. Mike and Megan have a son, Ezra, and a daughter, Addie, and are expecting baby #3 this December!

Pastor Biebert
Pastor Biebert graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1984. After being called to serve 3 rural congregations (1 in rural Beaver Dam, WI, and a dual parish in Ridgeland, WI) the Lord called him to serve here at St. John's in 1995. His wife, Linda (married in 1982) and he are the proud parents of 8 children. Pastor Biebert enjoys sharing the Word of God with His people in worship and Bible Study settings. He enjoys working with the other called workers and staff of our church and school. You will always find him willing to listen to any personal concerns you may have and talk about them in the light of God's Word. He continually prays that the Lord would use him in whatever way best serves His Kingdom here at St. John's and in the community of Neillsville.

Mrs. Donna Sternitzky
3K Teacher, Daycare Director, Organist
Mrs. Sternitzky has been working with children since she was in high school. She has been a member of St. John's since 1996. She loves music and has been teaching piano lessons for many years.

Mr. Harry Channing
Church & School Librarian
Mr. Channing was born and raised in Bloomer, WI. He went to college in Eau Claire. He received a two-year diploma, Bachelor's and Master's degrees. He taught in Chippewa County in a rural school for three years. He then taught in Greenwood for 37 years, 29 in Junior High, mostly science. Mr. Channing retired in 1997. He started as St. John's librarian in 1998. He will continue to serve as the librarian as long as the Lord allows.

Mrs. Judy Trunkel
Church & School Secretary, Organist
Mrs. Trunkel has been the church and school secretary since 1995. She has been a member of St. John's most of her life, and is a 1980 graduate of St. John's School. She is also one of our organists, and has been playing since she was 10 years old. Music is near and dear to her heart. She loves working in the church and school setting and considers the members of St. John's to be her extended family. She has a grown daughter, Amber, who lives in Milwaukee, WI with her husband Axel. Other than music, her hobbies are reading and gardening.

Mrs. Ruth Pennington
School Cook
Ruth has four children and six grandchildren. Her youngest, Gabe, attends St. John's. They live outside of Neillsville. She is almost finished with training to be a certified dog trainer. She went to college to be a nurse, but spent most of her years as a stay-at-home mom. She homeschooled all of her children up until this year. She worked and managed at Dominic's pizza for many years. Ruth enjoys cooking and is very interested in providing healthy foods that are tasty. She really loves to see all the children and their smiling faces.
